Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is offering an entry-level opportunity through an 18-month Technician Development Program, designed to train hands-on in auto body repair. You will work with seasoned technicians, gaining insight into dent removal, sanding, painting, and inspection processes.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and progressive skill-building, with a 30-day trial to qualify for the longer program and opportunities to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Trade/Vocational school preferred
• Some on-the-job experience preferred
• I-CAR Gold Class preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly for safety and efficiency
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects on time and to quality standards
• Follow all safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace
