Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in San Diego seeks an experienced Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while coordinating repairs and communicating with customers and insurers. The Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage and documents needed repairs for the appraisal, aligning with team KPIs.

The role requires knowledge of repairs, OE guidelines, and DRP processes, plus 1 year of experience, HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s; minimum 1 year experience.
• Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with pertinent details and update records.
• Provide accurate, timely information to customers and guide them through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance requirements and internal processes.
• Participate in daily production walks and support team members.
• Maintain KPI performance and uphold WOW values.
• Attend safety and staff meetings and engage in ongoing training.
