Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Estimator at our Birmingham, AL location to deliver an exceptional customer experience while accurately assessing vehicle damage and coordinating repairs with insurance providers. You will document communications, prepare damage appraisals, and support the team to meet KPIs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, knowledge of OE guidelines, and a willingness to complete I-CAR training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar estimator or DRP-adjacent role.
• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• Willing to complete I-CAR training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Compliance with DRP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Guide customers through the repair process and insurance communications.
• Coordinate repairs and parts replacement; inform insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance with DRP, insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with management, and assist team as needed.
