Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in casualty claims.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjusts claims and directs vendors.
• Interacts with field operations, legal counsel, safety managers, customers and carriers.
• Manages litigation and identifies exposures.
• Assists in identifying exposures and recommends solutions.
• Manages indemnity and expense costs.
• Coordinates with primary and excess insurers and reinsurers on files.
• Alerts about changes in laws impacting the liability program.
• Updates field personnel on claim status as requested.
• Provides outside vendors and experts as needed.
• Sets reserves to reflect probable ultimate payout.
