Job summary

Dalton Motors in National City, CA seeks a BDC Representative to identify new sales leads, manage client relationships, and drive customer service excellence. You will handle phone and online inquiries, schedule appointments, greet walk-in customers, and stay current on product knowledge and internal processes.

The role requires basic sales experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and organization skills.
• Proven experience in sales.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Available to work weekends.
• Professional and personable demeanor.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and internet.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.

Responsibilities

• Answering incoming phone calls and online inquiries.
• Scheduling appointments and following up with any "no show" customers.
• Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our products.
• Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our internal/external processes, especially regarding digital and internet lead sources.
• Greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining contact with customers to ensure they are happy with our service.
• Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
• Reporting any customer satisfaction issues to supervisor or GSM.
• Following up with "no sale" customers as directed by management.
• Performing other duties as assigned by ownership, upper management and/or immediate supervisor.
