Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You'll work with educators and Cortica's clinical team to promote learning, implement BIPs, and collect progress data.

Responsibilities include following the school calendar, maintaining safety protocols, travel between sites, and obtaining required BCAT/RBT credentials within 30 days. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BCAT or RBT credential must be obtainable within 30 days where required.
• Safety training certification within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.
• TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students in school settings.
• Implement individualized BIPs and skill programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with school teams and clinicians to integrate strategies.
• Collect data on progress and document session notes and incidents.
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and crisis procedures; participate in trainings.
