Job summary

Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings. You will work closely with educators, caregivers, and Cortica’s clinical team to help students succeed across their school day.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:45 PM, with a minimum of 4 paid hours per day when assigned. Administrative windows 7:30–11:30 AM may occur. Role emphasizes data collection, BIPs, and collaborative planning with school teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days (where required by district).
• Safety training certification within 30 days.
• TB clearance must be maintained.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between work locations.
• First aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism in school settings.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skills programs aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and Cortica clinical team to support student learning.
• Collect data on progress and document sessions and incidents.
• Participate in classroom observations and school-based trainings.
