Job summary

Centria Autism in Boston is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be patient and a team player, able to stand and lift up to 50 pounds, and ready to pass background checks and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and tuberculosis test required (if not current in last year).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with BCBA guidance and work as part of a team.
• Ensure safety and comfort during activities and transitions.
