Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence‑based techniques.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. This role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and teamwork to support the child and family.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children who have autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA-guided plans.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not current.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Assist in teaching communication, social and daily living skills.
• Follow BCBA guidance and use evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with safety and handling; may lift up to 50 pounds.
