Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based interventions to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and a willingness to learn, with comprehensive training provided. Candidates must be patient and physically capable of assisting children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and be patient and compassionate.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test if not current.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques and monitor progress.
• Be able to move and assist children up to 50 pounds as needed.
