Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and teamwork. Comprehensive training is provided, and candidates without experience are welcome to apply. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and prepared for activities that include lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Support BCBA and use evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Safely assist children in activities and maintain safety.
