Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role involves physical activity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible opportunities to make a meaningful impact in a child’s life.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support skill acquisition.
• Assist children in a safe, supervised environment under supervision of a BCBA.
