Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, following individualized behavior plans under a BCBA’s guidance. You will apply evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while safely supporting each child in various activities.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collect data and monitor progress to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with supervising BCBA and clinical team to support each child.
