Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• This role requires a passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress with supervision.
• Maintain safety and comfort of children during activities and transitions.
