Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided, and you must be able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting up to 50 pounds as

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Comfort with lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist in teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Carry out evidence-based techniques under the guidance of a BCBA.
