Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach essential communication, social, and daily living skills.

Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and positive reinforcement. The role involves physical activity and may require lifting up to 50 pounds; a valid CPR/First Aid certification is

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Assist in creating a safe, engaging session environment and monitor progress.
