Job summary

CENTRIA Autism in the United States is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, so no experience is required. The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork, with physical tasks such as standing, lifting up to 50

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test (within last year).
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Help reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
End of day reflections on impact for the child and family.
