Job summary

CENTRIA Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Comprehensive training is provided, and the role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. You’ll be part of a dedicated team making a meaningful impact in families’ lives.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support each child’s development.
• Collaborate with the team and participate in training provided.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive environment for children and families.
