Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. The role involves standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds while collaborating with a dedicated team to help each child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under supervision of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor progress and adapt strategies to each child.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
