Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children on autism intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. You will be part of a supportive, team-oriented environment that values growth, compassion, and the well-being of every child

Qualifications

Be passionate about helping children with autism.
18+ years old and a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA guidance.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency and success of interventions.
End each day with meaningful impact on the child and family.
