Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children on autism intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using proven techniques to build communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We offer comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support children to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team and participate in comprehensive training.
