Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors, while collaborating with a supportive team.

Comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Join a mission-driven team making a real difference.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test.
• Able to pass preemployment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification required within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
