Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a collaborative team environment. The role involves physical activity and requires comfort with lifting up to 50 pounds. A strong passion for helping children is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using BCBA-guided plans
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors
