Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on autism plans, with comprehensive training provided. You will implement individualized interventions under the BCBA and teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team; no prior experience required. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $19-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Operate under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive behaviors.
