Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate and able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, to help each child achieve their potential. Pay range: $19-$24.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow guidance from a BCBA.
• Willingness to complete required trainings and certifications.
• Ability to move and assist children in daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Use safe physical handling; stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
• Maintain a supportive, patient, and collaborative classroom environment.
