Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, applying individualized behavior intervention plans and evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will be part of a compassionate team, receive comprehensive training, and help children reach their potential. The role includes physical activity and requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds; pay ranges

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; HS diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid and TB test if needed; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist with activities requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and maintain safety.
