Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

The role includes hands-on training, a supportive team, physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, and opportunities to grow with a structured career path; pay ranges from $16 to $23 per hour and includes benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid cert and TB test after onboarding.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• 18+ years old.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RSA: Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Assist BCBA with one-on-one sessions and implement individualized behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Document progress and communicate with the team; participate in ongoing training.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
