Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting with positioning to keep clients safe and engaged. Pay rate is $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collect data and monitor progress.
