Job summary

Centriaautism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills in a compassionate team environment.

No prior experience required—comprehensive training is provided. The role involves mobility and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay $19–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if not in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA to support progress.
• Maintain safety and comfort, including physical movement when needed.
• Collaborate with team and families to support outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, structured learning environment.
