Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. The role involves physical activity, with lifting up to 50 pounds, and the pay range is $19 - $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test within onboarding period.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one intervention to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Possess physical stamina to stand, walk, and assist children weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Participate in training and teamwork to support client progress.
