Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on autism intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach key skills and use evidence-based methods to improve communication, social, and daily living abilities.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patience, and compassion, with comprehensive training provided. The position includes a pay range of $20–$26 per hour and requires physical stamina to support children during activities.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within the last year; pass background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; MD Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safety and able to move and assist children during activities as needed.
