Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, with opportunities for growth through a structured career path and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test within last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors while promoting safety and engagement.
