Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Participate in ongoing training and be empowered to help each child.
