Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training, no prior experience required, and a pay range of $18–$25 per hour. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and complete onboarding, including background check and certifications.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
