Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Some training is provided; candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. The pay range is $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• RBTT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and support family goals.
