Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behaviour intervention plans under BCBA guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient and compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable moving in various positions. Pay ranges $19–$20 per hour with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behaviour intervention plans.
• Follow BCBA guidance and use evidence-based techniques.
• Help develop communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Move and position children safely, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Provide supportive, compassionate care to children and families.
