Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA. Training is provided, and you’ll teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Requirements include patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The pay range is $19–$25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
