Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $18-24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress under supervision.
• Provide patient and supportive care to children in a dynamic environment.
