Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior plans under a BCBA’s guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to support children.
• Ability to work well in a team and be enthusiastic about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification, TB test where required.
• Pass background check before employment.
• Onboarding includes obtaining RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training and teamwork to support child development.
