Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in the United States to support children with autism. You will work under a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. In this role you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Training is provided so you can contribute from day one. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, with a pay

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and position safely; stand, walk, sit, and lift as needed.
