Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting, under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Comfort with movement and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. We provide comprehensive training and opportunities to grow within the Behavioral Analysis field, with a pay range of $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Centria Autism Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and assist with mobility needs for clients up to 50 pounds.
