Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient and team-oriented. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with pay ranging from $16 to $23 per hour depending on experience and

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed.
• Support a safe, positive environment and collaborate with the team.
• Complete onboarding and obtain required certifications (RBT after onboarding)
