Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under BCBA supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

You will receive comprehensive training, join a collaborative team, and contribute to meaningful outcomes. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds; CPR/First Aid certification, TB test, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Follow BCBA guidance and supervise interventions.
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for children.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
