Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, while staying active and comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Training provided to new hires.

Pay range: $19-$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and a team player.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans.
• Support the BCBA in delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and assist with movement as needed.
