Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required; full training provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $18 to $25 per hour, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in a safe and respectful environment while maintaining safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent therapy sessions.
