Job summary

Centria Autism in Richardson, TX is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing. Pay range is $18-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with staff.
• Meet the age requirement (18+ years).
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid cert and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Participate in training and onboarding to support each child.
