Job summary

CENTRIA AUTISM is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, working one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided, with a pay range of $19–$24 per hour and physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test in the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child independence.
