Job summary

Centria Healthcare - Autism Services is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with kids, following individualized intervention plans under a BCBA, applying evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive, team-oriented environment. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Join a dedicated team, participate in comprehensive training, and provide supportive care to children with autism.
• Contribute to a positive, patient, and collaborative workplace environment.
