Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

This entry-level role offers comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to grow within the Behavioral Analysis field. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour with benefits and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Be patient, compassionate and work well in a team.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
