Job summary

Centria Autism Services is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication, social and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors.

We offer training and a supportive team environment. The pay range is $19 - $24 per hour, with opportunities to grow within the Behavioral Analysis field.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support clients with mobility and positioning and ensure safety.
• Observe progress and communicate with the supervising BCBA and team.
